I'd like to do an experiment

To all the people on this message board, other than "Fluke", what other films do rank as highly? I know I'm unpopular on this board, but bear with me.

You are not unpopular?

You have you opinion and show stick to it.

I seen Fluke on T.V. ages ago, and again a few weeks back.
I don’t know what you are trying to prove?

Fact*
It bombed at the box office

Fact*
Its not very well known

Fact*
It’s got an average rating on IMDb and the message boards like wastelands

You’ve already won, its what I’m trying to get across, the movie failed but I still think its brilliant. In the same way the spitfire was an average plane, streets of rage was an average game and Britain is an average nation but I still love them all.

I agree with you very much.
To me, Fluke is one of those forgotten treasures, so to speak. It doesn't *really* bother me that it's not very well-known or anything, since in a way that makes it all the more special...
I just feel it's one of those films that *is* better than much of the popular stuff that's out there, making me glad to have discovered it.

Revenge is a dish best served .

"Britain is an average nation"

I agree that Britain isn't so great, I live here, I should know. But why is that you Americans always think your country's wonderful and pick on Britain specifically, as being average.

I didn’t know that West Midlands was part of the USA.

"I didn’t know that West Midlands was part of the USA."

Don't be a smart ass. You must have noticed that 90% of the people on IMDB seem to be from the USA? I was just taking a stab in the dark.

I can see why you're unpopular. Why come onto a "Fluke" board and want to talk about something else?

Btw, I'm an American that lives in Australia. If you'd like to discuss, oh ... Alec Guinness, Peter Sellers, Ian Carmichael, Terry-Thomas, Herbert Lom, the Carry on gang, or "Survivors" or "The Prisoner" or ... but I don't imagine you're still around after all these years.

As for reasonable people, past, present and future, I discovered "Fluke" and was impressed. Must go check if the DVD is available.

I saw this right when I woke up today, not planned, and it's the only movie right from the start I was placed on edge of tears. Never had that in a movie. Ever.
