I'm 20 now and still remember seeing this- maybe I was 6ish and being so freaked out I watched it with my mum and brother and we all cried so much my mum decided to get rid of the movie so we didn't ever watch it again lol

shareI saw this at 5 when it came out, and somehow I understood it's emotional undertones on an adult level. I may have been a child but I understood it was not just a talking dog but about grief and regret. It didn't disturb me but made me long for a father... my biological father was back with his original ''wife'' after the fling with my mother resulting in my me.
