I don't think it's rude. I'm not making fun of a non-English speaker here. I'm commenting on somebody who is too careless and lazy to proofread their comments before posting. You can tell by reading the post that it's simply filled with careless mistakes and typos. So many in fact, that I had to read it three times to even understand it.

For example, he writes patying instead of paying. This isn't a language problem. It's a lazy problem.

Also, he writes peole instead of people and tio instead of to. Again, just lazy.

On top of it all, he's commenting on the wrong message board. He should be on the Father of the Bride message board.

As long as people understand what he or she is writing it shouldn't matter how lazy that person may be.

It DOES matter. I wrote in my previous post that I had to read his post three times to understand it. Most people are not going to invest that much time or energy. If you have an idea that you want other people to read, you need to make it as clear as possible. Case closed.

I agree, go proofread and show some respect for your readers so that they can understand you the first time.

For example, that was easy to understand. Now let's try this.

i agrree go profreed nd show some resspect fo ur reedrs so they can understan d u teh first timee

Now which one was easier to read? I think the first was.

I agree that they need to try and write a little neater. I mean if the word is spelled wrong that's fine or they misuse a word that's fine too. But you're right most won't go back two or three times to read a post.
