'I'm too big to get behind the wheel.'

When Nina says that after George passes out from sleeping pills that is so hilarious. That's her reason for not driving? George said earlier in the movie that she was 128 or 132 pounds. There are people that drive cars that are 250+ and you're telling me that she can't fit behind the wheel of a car. Can't she put the seat back or adjust the steering wheel higher to move out of the way of her stomach?

reply

Maybe her legs wouldn't be long enough?
No, wait, that can't be true because Diane has legs about a mile long!
I know, I fell off my bed laughing it was so funny! The worst excuse ever!

Being large all round is different to having most of that pounds concentrated in your stomach that massively jutts out. Anyone who has been pregnant knows that when you are heavily pregnant, you CANNOT fit behind the wheel. Its just common sense.

Are you telling me that women in their last month of pregnancy can't drive? I know women who drive in their last month of pregnancy. I even knew a woman who drove herself to the hospital when she was in labor and she gained 70 pounds with her pregnancy.

reply

Well it would depend on 2 things: if the steering column is adjustable, and where the woman gained the weight. Large woman don't protrude out in front when pregnant, yet thin women protrude very very noticeably. Generally though, I think most people know that heavily pregnant women can't fit behind the wheel.

reply

Yeah, but she's thin, tall and lanky.
Bad excuse.

If she drove the car, Franck wouldn't have had an excuse to be at the hospital to help with Annie and "bond" with George. It's a movie.

Also... didn't Nina say she had went to the doctor that day??

Real love is FOREVER!!!!
