Why didn't he take time off instead of going to work after being woken up every night by Annie?
shareI say this every time I watch this part in the movie- it makes me so angry he goes into work exhausted. At least go in late or something. Then again, it was a decent set up for when he had to take the sleeping pills. (loved the car scene with the thugs thinking George was looking at them from the window)
shareWell George was a cheap skate. Maybe he didn't have anybody on staff with the pay grade to sign off on orders and payments.
