One of the listed Metacritic reviews gives this film a zero rating. That's very harsh. The average user rating gives a 6.5 which suggests that it's one of those films which flopped but has since gained a following. I think it's a very solid 90s teen movie and gives a nice feeling of the era. Maybe that's why more people are warming up to it now?

Charter digital cable gives a brief synopsis and most of the time a star rating for movies being shown. This one was given just one star, which almost deterred me from watching it, but I watched it anyway and was glad I did.
