I love the look of this film
It's so atmoshpheric, very 90s, I'd go as far to say one of the best looking films ever made. How did they do it ?
Wish more movies were like this one.
With a lot of cheap sets and backdrop paintings?
I thought it looked really cheesy throughout the movie. When you can tell an outdoor scene is shot indoors, it's pretty bad.
I think that was intentional because it mimicks the old (hammer horror) Dracula films
plus it's a comedy: fakeness only adds to it. Haven't you seen scary movie 3?
I too love it´s look: brilliantly rich color, opulent yet fake sets... my favorite joke in the film!
