Does Amy remind anyone but me of Madeline Kahn? Occasionally the resemblamce is eerie.

Not really. And further more I found her a little flat because her character sounded to much like her character in Men in Tights and I found that to be lazy of her to use the same accent and mannerisms.

that was what annoyed me about her. she was just reenacting maid marion which was boring

Absolutely. In a moment of sheer desperation, I was searching Amy's filmography for "Blazing Saddles" before realizing it was someone else (couldn't remember her name).

I thought she was a dead ringer for Madeline. Probably why Mel Brooks chose her.
