Best Stephen Chow movie

And one of the best Chinese movies I've ever seen.

I often ask myself if Disney will ever produce a classic again. I think the days of Peter Pan, Snow White, and Cinderella are gone forever. That is why it's so exciting that we got to see one of China's greatest film stars in such a classic story. Maybe there are more Chinese stories that can make the transition to the big screen, but I don't think we'll ever see such a great one starring Stephen Chow.

I would 100% agree.

A Chinese Odyssey 1+2 are my favourite Hong Kong films, as well as Chungking Express and 2046. Wong Kar-Wai and Jeffrey Lau are pure talent and great friends.

i loved shaolin soccer as well but i think chinese odyssey series did the best in incorporating action to tell a great, if not an ultimate, love story.

Siu Lam juk Kau scored pretty low on the humor dept. Apart from the kung-fu song I don't remember cracking a smile for the entirety of the show. To me the show is almost a remake of Sik San, like an afterthought, only with souped up CGI that is as cheap as can be expected from Chinese CGI companies back then.

Sik San, that's Chow's crowning achievement. Sai Yau Gei is only Chow's rehearsal.
