Has anyone noticed at the very beginining of the movie in the lecture hall the camera pans by William McNamara, who of course turns out to be the killer. I recognized him and knew he was the killer. It kind of ruined it knowing he was the guy.

shareActually, they tell you he was at the lecture, since that's the order he does the murders in (the order she presented the killers at that lecture), and then he makes reference to it when he's got her strung up a la Harry Connick Jr.'s character. I don't think it was any big secret he was in the lecture. At least, that was the impression I got.
shareHe can also be seen in the background of the police station, shortly afer one of the first murders. It's right after that crazy guy claims he did it.

I thought it was even more eerie when you see him at the police station..the cop actually says something to him and he says "Hey" back. If only they knew.
