Could someone please tell me what happens in the film after the main character(Weaver) finds the thumb in her bed. I have actually seen the ending, but it was in french so I couldn't understand a word of it.

I think the thumb is with the book (written by Darryl Lee) and it's under her mattress (she flipped the mattress up when she saw the ants all over her bed.) Then you see her shocked face (the camera angle is from the mattress up at her fact) and the next thing you see are the police at her place treating it as a crime scene.
