Since agoraphobia is a fear of crowds why does the killer say "I cured you of agoraphobia!"?
Does he think he cured Doc just because he took her out of her apartment?

Terry, agoraphobia is the fear of being in a situation where one might experience anxiety or panic, usually in open places. It is not a fear of crowds. It's more a fear of being outside. Did you notice the time she had to crawl in her hall for her newspaper? How upset she was? So no crowds were necessary.
