a SWAT team surrounds foley's house and hes still able to set the place on fire, kill his girlfriend and escape?

reply

First, it was'nt his girlfriend, it was his mother. He probably escaped a while before they arrived and set some sort of timer to start the fire. Possibly a backdraft.

reply

well no
Rebecca Klingler .... Peter's Wife
its credited as his wife

and you can't "time" a backdraft.

reply

Yes and there is one further down....

Kathleen Stefano .... Peter's Mother

The wife must have been in a deleted or alternate scene.

Plus we hear Helen saying that something happened to this one, most likely by a parent figure, then she gives examples of various serial killers and the abuse they suffered at the hands of their parents.

Your an idiot, he was in his late 20s

The woman was not old enough to be his mother.

reply

He was in his early/mid 20's, the woman was in her mid 40's. How is that not old enough to be his mother?

Also if it was not his mother why the hell is it listed in the credits?

reply

That woman was his wife, the mother is in the credits because THAT scene was deleted.

The above poster is absolutely correct - there WAS a deleted scene. If you don't believe me look at the cast listing, and you'll also find a listing for Young Peter - John Charles Morris.

The woman in the bed was his wife - he was married, he had a ring on during the course of the movie, as did she. He had a job, he had a house, he had a "respectable" life to hide the underlying murderous one. Unfortunately my DVD doesn't come with any special features so I can't say what the scene was about but I'm guessing it has something to do with the way he kills his wife later on, lol.

no, the woman is his wife. The mother was in a deleted scene, along with Young Peter. It was a flashback. The woman he kills is his wife, she's too young to be his mother. Yes, his mother DID abuse him, which was the flashback that was deleted.

I think "Captain Planet" is something that should be mandatory to watch nowadays.

Team Jacob!

That woman in the bed with the dog was so obviously his wife. Nobody calls their mother darling.
