Entertaining movie. My review
Copycat is about an obsessed serial killer with a loose screw copying previous murder scenarios and re-enacting them out for the purpose of torturing Sigourney Weaver and becoming famous in the process as well.
The direction and acting are tight and well done. There are no useless scenes and overall it kept me entertained.
A few things to note -
1. You can clearly see that Peter Foley, the serial killer, was in the initial audience when Helen is giving her speech and asking the White males to stand up. He is behind one of the guys in that scene
2. I thought I saw Nicholas Cage when the girl was dumped by the homeless folks on some hill. This scene location also felt reminiscent in the game LA Noire.
3. Hollywood has no real clue how computers work :)
Holly Hunter did a good job and overall the plot was a little far fetched and bordered on incredulous at times but still was taut and thrilling.
My rating - 7/10
