Just saw this, great film. Ending set the perfect scene for a sequel. Can't understand why they have not made one. Sigourney was amazing as usual. A sequel is defo needed and would do well at the box office imo. Any Ideas for a sequel?

I don't want a sequel. Then it would take away its orignality and make it some new cheesy horror franchise. They did a great job with this film, and I don't want to see a second version ruin it.

Was one needed? Not really.
Hey Mark24, I think that the two main reasons that they didn't make a sequel was because 1. The movie was a box office flop, it got overshadowed by movies like 7 and people didn't even give it a chance to prove it was a great movie. So its extreemly rare that a sequel is made if they lost money on the original (unless your Nicholas Cage). 2. as people mentioned a sequel is maybe not the best idea, it would be predictable.
