Maybe a dumb question about Sigourney, but...

...loads of times throughout the film, when she spoke, she just sounded like she was reading the script from Aliens. I haven't seen Aliens for a while, but it seemed to me there were more than a few lines that were taken from that.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

When she woke up from her nightmare in her singlet, I had visions of Aliens. I can't remember if she clutched her chest or not. Otherwise, she was just Sigourney Weaver to me.

Yeah, certain scenes did remind me of her in Aliens.

"I am the ultimate badass, you do not wanna `*beep*` wit' me!" Hudson in Aliens.

it reminds you of aliens as it was a film of goodies versus baddied similar to alien.It was kinda the same genre.

I've heard interviews with Weaver where she states her belief that this is perhaps her best performance.

Facts need to come before certainty.

In Hollywood, there is a lot of attention paid to homage. (Except, the Hollywood creepos pronounce it HOE'-mage, the g to sound like the g in imagine.)

There is a lot of homage paid in the movie.
