after Connicks character kills the cop in the bathroom and proceeds to go after Weavers character we see a cop fleeing in terror down the hallway. What was all that about? I dont understand that part of the movie at all
shareIn the beginning, two cops escorted Helen Hudson to the restroom, but only one actually stayed positioned there after checking the bathroom and stalls. The cop running down the hallway is running towards the bathroom where Helen Hudson is, after realizing something is wrong.

I thought he did a pretty good job.
The first time I saw the movie, I didn't know who Harry Connick Jr. (sp?) was. The whole time I was watching him, I kept thinking that the actor was kinda cute, Darryl Lee was a nut job, but the actor was cute.
Later when I saw Harry Connick Jr. I realized I was right.

Actually very few serial killers are extremely smart. Most of them are either of average intelligence or lower. Just because pop-culture promotes the smart ones it doesn't mean most of them are.

The cop wasn't fleeing; he was running toward the bathroom when he heard the noise of the shooting (of Connick shooting the cop), because he knew something was wrong.
