Question re: soundtrack; please help

It's the piece of music I've been trying to identify to no avail. It's in the scene where Dr. Hudson first examines the crimes photos after her first meeting with the detectives when she hyperventilated. Andy gets her coffee and tells her to make a decision "Live or Die". The piece of music is classical in nature, begins with the sopranos only then it's joined with the rest of the choir. And I could detect the word "Jerusalem" a few times. Can anyone recall what composition is this and by whom? Thanks a lot.

I was just wondering the same thing myself. Unfortunately, its not on the CD soundtrack. Would be perfect if it was :-(

Very simple (for a frenchman may be)
this is the piece 'pie Jesu' from the 'requiem' of Fauré.

one of the most beautiful Requiem ever written. Many recordings.
you could find this info on imdb.

the entire work is to be listened to.

reply

Ah! excellent. Thanks ever so much!

reply

The song is not Pie Jesu. It's called "In Paradisium".

reply

The saddest segment of Copycat's soundtrack is "Silhouette".
