glasses off glasses on

Sigourney Weaver's acting was so bad that I felt like fast forwarding her scenes. Only acting she did is glasses off and glasses on thousand times, to look serious or compensate for her talentless presence. And she showed her long teeth like a damn zebra... the whole time.

Hmm. I didn't take excessive notice of the glasses because I was so absorbed in the film, thanks to the excellent performances by both leading actresses (who happen to have really, really nice teeth.) `_`

Just as I read your post, I looked up at my TV and Weaver was taking her glasses off!

When you get to the age when you wear glasses, you will see that her actions are not at all excessive.

Also, a lot of times, the editing will emphasize certain things that otherwise we wouldn't notice.

Not certain why you're so angry about her acting.

I thought she was great. Did she spurn your advances?

reply

I didn't think her acting was bad, but I did notice the constant "on and off" with the glasses. At one point, she took them off, and in the next shot, they were already back on. She did it so much, editing couldn't keep up with it.
