Nicolas Cage is one of the hippies

I just saw Copycat again, and I realised that Nicolas Cage is one of the hippies at the crime scene with the girl dead next to the "no dumping" (or whatever it was) sign.
He is the first hippie of the six or seven hippies, when the camera makes it's move towards the left (the viewers left) of the screen, he has long hair, but I can assure you that's him.

Please, someone must have seen him too.

Sadly it's not.

Why would Nicolas Cage be in this movie? What purpose would it serve him, or the viewers? Perhaps if it was a clever cameo it would make more sense, but...

yaaaay! I came on here to find a thread about this! clearly I'm not the only one who thinks so, though i doubt it's actually him. There's a johnny Depp look-alike a few hippies down, too - look out for that one!

LOL, he does look like Nicolas Cage but it's definetely not him.

Isn't him & you all need to use glasses, that fella resembles more a younger Peter Stormare than Cage. About uncredited small cameos from well-known stars isn't far-fetched (as an example Tom Cruise did an uncredited & non-speaking part cameo in "Young Guns" (1988) as a favor to his budd Emilio Estevez) & Cage is good friends with Holly Hunter since "Raising Arizona" it could have been possible, but that "hippy" actor surely isn't him.

I started this message June 16, 2006, and now I came back!
And, after seeing the picture, maybe it's not him... but I love how many people thought the same thing!!!
