If this movie was made 10 years later with a completely different cast, void of mid nineties garbage guff talk and with a serious and creepy overtone it would have been great. Dont get me wrong i like the movie, i just feel it could have been so much more. Its hard to take it seriously when you watch movies like se7en and then see this.

shareIts hard to take it seriously when you watch movies like se7en and then see this.They were made around the same time, but I agree with you, there's just no comparison between Se7en and this. It tries to borrow liberally from Vertigo, Silence of the Lambs and references real life serial killers, but for me, nothing much rings true, though Holly Hunter's M.J. Monahan was appealing. share
