When Dermot's character was alone talking to Sigourney he said Holly and him were partners. Sigourney asked "just partners"? He responded with "not yet" BUT then he said you're in the witness catagory and Signourney said better times maybe. What the heck is going on? So, did he just tell her he's starting to have the hots for her?

Previously we saw him picking up his phone and Holly asking which of his girlfriends is it this time. He seems to have been hitting on multiple females at once, why would he leave out Sigourney.

Then he would have wanted for them to get it on so he could watch, and he would have jumped it for a great climax.

He was developing lasting feelings for Holly's character and may possibly had a one night stand with her (that other older cop character who was Holly's former lover and fell out with her, was getting jealous) and it's a very sad sub-plot really, considering how it ended. In the original script Dermot's character snogged Sigourney's character when he was protecting her.

I wish they made a sex/love scene with Dermot & Sigourney. I'd love to see that. I know, that scene would be useless

If they had met in another way I'm sure he could have hit on her, but since they met the way they did, he couldn't sleep with her.
