she's just fine in this flick. a great counter-part to ms. weaver. plus her accent is sexy as all get-out. you picked an odd movie to rewatch, since she's in it so much. must only take you about a half-hour to get through it.
shareI personally thought she was really good in the movie. And anyone who won't even give the time of the DAY because she's not perfect looking (although not that bad) is just really shallow.

wow, i didnt realize that quite a few people didnt care for Hollys acting in this film. My friend and I love the scenes between her and Weaver. And her accent? Pure bliss!!! And if you dont like her accent, then check her out in The Piano. She plays a mute.
of note: Sigourney was offered the role of Ada in The Piano but turned it down because she wanted to spend time raising her daughter. I liked Holly in that role but I would have loved to see what Sigourney would have done with that character.
The op doesnt get it. Holly Hunter is one of the best actresses. She was great in this flick. I wished her and Ruben had gotten together. Its kinda more sad they never got the chance.
share^ Agreed. Holly is terrific, particularly in this movie. Sigourney was brilliant as well, and they make a great pair. What a thriller!!! I was cheering for her when she showed up to kill Peter. When he shot her in the bathroom, I was like, "No way. Please tell me she's got a bulletproof vest and doesn't really die." I knew she'd save Helen...and not make the same mistake twice. (She has a good idea about shooting in the shoulder to make somebody drop the weapon, but obviously you've got to be ready to empty your own gun into him if there's the slightest chance that he can still grab his back and do something with it...)
What's more, the OP was probably just a trolling doofus. ;-p
This movie was awesome; I can't believe I'd never even heard of it before! Definitely got unfairly overshadowed and is very under-appreciated...this deserves a lot more than a measly 6.5/10. o.o
