By Christopher Young. Simply Exceptional.

Seconded. One of my favourite soundtracks ever. I got CD just after the release and got it always on my MP3 player. Love it.

No Accidents. No Coincidences. No Escapes. You Can't Cheat Death. - FINAL DESTINATION 5

Agreed. Amazing soundtrack - so unexpected in style, and so effective. After watching a bunch of summer blockbusters with soundtracks that are just loops, over and over again, it's refreshing to watch this again - and any movie that invests in music.

I must say the standout moment in this atmospheric soundtrack was this track:

This enhanced the already emotionally affecting scene where Dermot Mulroney's character gets unexpectedly murdered by a random suspect trying to escape custody, bringing me close to actually crying.

I absolutely agree. The soundtrack/score to this film is one of my favorites. Outstanding!

listening to the dvd commentary today I recall Jon Amiel describing the feeling he was going for on the explosion scene and how instead of focusing on the sound effects and the rush of the explosion and escaping the fire as an action film would do he tried to communicate Monnaghan's mental estate of confusion and distress. this is the absolute paramount moment in the score.

I love "Who's Afraid" (the music when Foley is shot by Hunter). Superb.
