Less engaging given its dated look/feel
I remember this in its day being a tense movie, but I guess fear is to do with relevancy. The dated look and feel sort of distracts me form the storyline.

shareI just watched it, and I don't feel that way. However, I grew up in the 80s, so this 1995 movie doesn't feel "dated" to me at all. I guess if you're younger then maybe it looks like a 1970s movie looks to me?

well I remember the 90s, and it has a very distinct feel to the era we are currently in, and that distracts me from the storyline. It isn't a movie about the 90s, yet I feel myself being distracted by this.
shareYeah, I've never understood why they couldn't make a movie in say, 1995 feel like it was made 20 years later. Talk about lack of forethought!
shareThat's just silly, to judge a movie because it looks and feels like the time period it was made in. I've never understood that.
