All the supporting actors and the cameos in this movie are freaking great. Ernie Hudson, Tim Curry, Delroy Lindo, Joe Pantoliano and Joe Don Baker. Every single line they deliver is pure gold, no matter how stupid it may be. Full on "Nicolas Cage mode". Really fun to watch.
It's a shame the lead actors were not as good.

In reference to what bigperm said, I loved Ernie's take on his character. And normally I don't like actors doing fake accents but I loved Tim Curry so much in his role, I overlooked that.
But I really liked the leads, too. Someone was asking if a remake could be made. I just couldn't imagine it without them.
I thought all the actors were great!
