Did Michael Crichton ever state his opinion on “Congo” the movie? Does anyone know, or have any links to interviews where he might have stated his opinion?

He gave an online interview in 1996, where he was asked about the movie.

Question: Mike were you disappointed with the movie Congo as I was? The book was so good!!!!

he said it is the best film he has seen tbh. excellent sense of danger, believable characters, gripping, thought provoking. he believed that Amy was ahead of her time.
