I always thought Alicia silverstone should've been nominated for a golden globe for her role as Cher. Others like Emma stone in Easy A and Amy schumer for Trainwreck got nominated and I didn't even think those films were great, let alone iconic classics. I thought Alicia was funny and deserved award recognition for this movie.

This was more a pop-corn flick.
I thought she was really funny and the movie itself was really clever. And her performance was really good. I thought Emma stone and Amy schumer weren't worthy of a GG nom and those were popcorn flicks too. I like Amy and Emma but those performances were boring compared to Alicia.
Idk just what I thought.
She probably would be nominated for a GG today.
