Throughout the film there are some scenes where Josh has a girlfriend.
Simultaneously there were scenes of him which dropped hints that he had started to like/have feelings for Cher.
Was there ever an indication that he broke up with his girlfriend?
I thought the same thing. The only thing i can think of is they prolly broke up after the car scene where josh laughed at chers comment @his gf expense but they prolly edited it out not thinking it was an important enough scene however i world disagree because not too much longer later we see him and cher get together now making him look like a cheater!
