I'm only going on 23 so high school isn't that far back and I recall myself having a lot of crushes that would come and go and I usually never had the guts to confront most of them about it. That could be said for a lot of my other gal pals in high school as well.
I highly doubt girl's would have hated Tai for crushing on a bunch of girls. That's kind of what a lot of teenage girls do. Hell even if she slept with them, she probably still wouldn't be hated for it unless she blabbed about it to everyone.
