Now this is a scray film.... forget all that s.h.i.t like ring and the eye which are both crap films!!!!! that are not scary in the slightest. This on the other hand is real fear a turule grotequse film due to the actual freak of the title, but there's somthing unsetteling about the film, Castle Freak is excellent, and very very creepy, not for the faint hearted!! some good gore as well.

I totally agree. "Castle Freak" is an old school horror movie that really gets you creeped out. I'd definetly recomend it to anyone interested in the genre.
Also: I really liked the way the freak got off the chain. ;)
I caught this movie on HBO several years ago and thought it was great. I recently bought the dvd and I still think the movie holds up.
