Bushwacked #1. He's crazy and nutty but likable.

I love Daniel Stern period. I wish he was still making bigger movies. He was a major part of my childhood, but I think his performance in the first Home Alone is priceless, that part with the spider and him screaming at the top of his lungs is great! The music adds so much to that scene as well. Him and Pesci had real screen chemistry.

I loved this movie too, but he was better in City Slickers as well. Oh, and Rookie of the Year, his performance in that was priceless!

Dragonzord! Mastodon! Pterodactyl! Triceratops! Saber Toothed Tiger! Tyrannosaurus!

He's hilarious! For me #1 has to Home Alone and then Home Alone 2 the brick scene in Home Alone 2 was priceless.

people need to see "celtic pride" with him and dan aykroyd...he was awesome in that

reply

I caught Celtic Pride on Cable a year or two ago actually, and didn't like it much.

For me, I've owned this movie since I was a kid and watched it again a few days ago. I've also owned Home Alone, but this will be the choice for me.

Pesci finally acted again a couple years ago in a movie called Love Ranch. Daniel doesn't seem to be doing much lately. Some great screenwriter should throw together a few ideas and somehow create an epic masterpiece starring these guys as the two leads. It will introduce their chemistry to the generation whose childhood prime was about 15 years after Home Alone who by before long will be reaching that important 17th birthday and can see an R-rated film.

And for those of us who grew up with our eyes latched onto these guys, the new movie will fit into what our tastes are as adults but in such a way that we're not automatically associating their characters with Harry and Marv. Not some piece of crap just loaded with profanity and trying to copy Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Casino, and The Departed without any real substance, I'd like to see it become a potential classic film. Add an interesting element to it, Macaulay Culkin as director. In the Ron Howard way though, not appearing in the film at all.

Home Alone 1 and 2 were better movies, but this was his best performance. He was hilarious!

Have a lot of respect for him in City Slickers though. His freakout wouldn't have worked quite the same with someone else, and not a lot of people can pull off whimpering and sadness like he did in that movie. Bruno might still steal the show from him for me though.
