Sandler/Farley Scene - Anyone notice...

How Sandler is on the verge of busting out laughing for most of the shots during his scene with Chris Farley as they are boarding the school bus? During the close-ups of Billy when he delivers his lines he seems to keep it together, but when during the two shots when Farley delivers his lines, Adam Sandler looks like he is trying so hard not to laugh.

What I find most interesting about this is that they must have done several takes to get what they wound up with. Chris Farley must have been one funny guy to see up close and personal.

I noticed it. I rewound it an watched the scene re-entering the school bus a few times. In fact, at the very beginning of the scene when Sandler is in the back of line walking towards the bus, he is already smiling looking like he is ready to bust out laughing.

Seeing Sandler "holding it in" made Farley seem even funnier. You're right, Farley must have been hilarious to be around. I remember when Farley was on SNL how everyone would in a sketch would be barely able to keep from cracking up when Farley delivered his lines -- particularly his Inspirational Speaker role as the guy that lived "in a van down by the river."

Chris Farley and John Candy, they were hilarious, may they rest in peace.

All he had to do is say "no" to everything Farley said...and it was still outrageous.

I was surprised to see Farley in this, but I guess he did it as a favor for Sandler, which is why the fatso didn't take a credit.

you were surprised to see chris farley in a totally absurd, nonsensical comedy..? we're talking about the same chris farley, right...?

Sandler and Farley were best buds and had amazing chemistry together, of course he would have put him in Billy, they prob planned it out. Just like how Norm was in Billy too, him and Sandler are buds. Farley made the Bus Driver work, without him it wouldn't have been as a good in those scenes lol.

Surprised Sandler wasn't in Tommy Boy at some point tbh, but Michaels at SNL prob wouldn't have let him go since Adam worked with Robert Simmonds to make this and not Michaels like Farley and Spade did with their two flicks.

It's sad that we lost Farley so young. If he hadn't passed, it would have been him doing the Grown Ups movies and then there might have something worth laughing at.

"Without management, there is only chaos."
"Can we try the chaos thing?"
