When animals talk.... what do we hear?

Like do the humans just hear like barking and sqweeling or something? Cause that would be a lot of barking and sqweeling... lol

When I hear pigs snort I can only hear the sweet sounds of bacon frying in a pan.

To quote Homer Simpson: "mmmmmm bacon...."

I don't know what you're trying to say.

A good traveller has no fixed plans, and is not intent on arriving.

Remember the scene in babe where babe first meets maa? You see hoggett's wife outside picking vegetables and all she hears is baa-ing while maa is in fact talking to babe.

so yeah, they just hear animal sounds.

reply

wtf it means no sense at all.

if you were saying what sounds do animals hear when humans talk that would make more sense.

"the hardest thing in this world, is to live in it "

reply

LOL yes. ^

But when Farmer Hoggett is watching Fly and Rex talk at the Sheepdog trials they're just standing there... not whining or barking.

reply

Wait are you trying to say, what does it sound like to the animals themselves or what we sound like to the animals?

So are you asking if a pig hears snorting since that's what we hear?

Miller actually addressed this in "Happy Feet" as well - check it out.

How in the world can people not understand what the OP is asking? Granted, it isn't well written, it's still easily comprehensible. And if you don't understand, then fine, but there is no need to be a prick about it.

What do humans hear while the animals are talking to each other. The OP points out that if humans hear squealing, barking and other typical animal sounds, due to the amount of talking these animals do, then the humans would hear quite a lot of barking, squealing, etc.

If you watch the sequel you'll get your answer.... when the non-human animals are all singing so beautifully to each other, the human animals only hear barking, meowing, clucking, and oinking.
