Banned in Malaysia?

No really why

reply

Dunno why either, but I have noticed that in Malaysia and Singapore they use to ban lots of harmless movies.
At least they are considered 'harmless' in the rest of the world.

One word to resume it: PIGS!!

But Malaysians are also extremely uptight and ridiculously conservative about too many issues; it doesn't have anything to do the fact that it is a Muslim society; many Muslim societies are quite open about many things.

reply

I've seen Malaysian Muslim women wear the headwrap whereever they go (showing hair or shoulder makes you a whore I guess) but they'll still flaunt they're diamond rings and expensive Louis Vutton bags. Strange. Isn't against the will of Allah to flash your bling-bling?

I shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy.

reply

Just about every other movie is banned in Malaysia, but I don't know the reason.

reply

hey dude I am Muslim and many of my closest friends are Malaysian. Malaysians are good people and generally very laid back in comparison to most Asians in my opinion. Just because gov't of Malaysia does some stupid *beep* like ban this movie, don't take it against Malaysians. Malaysians are extremely good people

People who go around flashing their "bling bling" are idiots who have no since of humility or what is important in life. Sure they should have gotten that message from Islam to not do such things but they didn't. Why make it sound like it's a Malaysian thing? No offense but Americans are the most money flaunting people on the face of the planet... and this is an American saying that. Americans and many Asian cultures are very very very similar in showing off what they got I've always found it pompous and ridiculous.

My name is Khan... and I am not a terrorist!!!

reply

You do realize nobody insulted Malaysians here... all people have said is that it is a conservative country. Why are you getting so defensive?

reply

They don't want their children brainwashed into becoming vegetarians like the other thread on here suggests is happening.
