I had to rewind that one a few times. Just the subtleness (Right over the kiddies heads) and the delivery. Total classic.

Been watching this movie on VHS my whole life. Watched it on DVD yesterday for the first time, and caught this line with the help of the subtitles. Classic Ferdinand!

"What I don't understand is how we're going to stay alive this winter."

Oh, gosh, yes! That line just kills me. Funnily enough, I was completely oblivious to its meaning as a kid.

My god, I choked on a jellybean right then! Lemme tell ya, I had one hell of a time explaining that one away to the Neph... I just told him the funny way Ferdy moved his head caught me off guard. He didn't ask me again, but he didn't look altogether convinced...
