I don't know about your experience with cats, but every cat that I've had was a very loving and affectionate pet. They're wonderful animals, and I don't understand why they get such a bad rep, but to each his own I guess.

Not all cats are mean. But they are VERY JEALOUS creatures. My family has 3 cats at the moment and all 3 of them have different personalities. My Trixie is a sweetheart when she wants to be but she hates boys,mainly because she was abused by little boys when she was little back before I took her in. Im the only one she will let hold her. My daughter's cat Precious is a big baby and adores my daughter. Before we got her spayed she was VERY playful then when we got her fixed sje grew lazy lol. Now my mom's cat Shemp is a monster,and yes I mean monster! We took him in from outside during the winter and you'd think he'd be grateful! But no! He won't let anyone touch him except my mom. Anyway I do think it depends on the personality of the cat. Some are sweet as pie and some are just plain devilish lol.

My cat has lots of mood swings, but she can be sweet.
