Woefully underrated movie that deserves a blu-ray release.

I don't want to talk about plot holes, etc. I know the movie is flawed, but it's still one of the best and most fun movies I saw in the 1990s. It's one of Stallone's best, and Banderas has never been better than he was in this one.

Totally agree. Banderas was simply amazing in this film and obvious plot holes aside this movie deserves an 8 for the acting and the story alone.

it's on blu-ray now (Aug 16th is official date but it's basically 'out' now). it's also definitely underrated.

Agreed. Banderas was great in Assassins (1995) (8/10) along with Desperado (1995) (8/10) as those two are definitely his best performances/films.

the film works because of the acting/drama between Stallone and Banderas and it has some nice moments in it here and there to.
