RE: A.J. MacInerney: If anyone needs me, I'll be in the Roosevelt Room, giving Lewis oxygen.

He didn't say "oxygen," he said "agita."

I intend to live forever, or die trying.

reply

According to the script it's 'oxygen".

SHEPHERD doesn't need to turn around to know who's standing
in the doorway, but of course he does anyway.

Hi, A.J.

A.J.
It's nice to see you, Ms. Wade. If
anybody needs me, I'll be in the
Roosevelt Room, giving Lewis oxygen.

A.J. exits.

reply

Maybe so, but listen closely to what he actually says.

I intend to live forever, or die trying.

reply

@nirbok085 I listened closely, and A.J. says "oxygen" - I can hear the "n" sound.

And why the fυсk would A.J. want to give Lewis agita (acid indigestion) when he's busy rewriting the State of the Union? Stop and think.

reply

I still hear "agita."
I intend to live forever, or die trying.
