Apparently studios have already gotten a green light into making a third movie. But apparently Jim Carrey isn't in the third movie...
That would just kill the series, wouldn't you think? Jim Carrey created Ace Ventura and made it his own...

Yeah.. Unfortunately its gonna be 'Ace Ventura Junior'.. a movie about the little adventures of ace's son, with Jim Carrey nowhere to be seen.. Sounds horrible to me.
shareJim didnt even want to do this movie but unfortunately he signed a contract for the first movie stating that if the movie made x amount of dollars then he was legally contracted to do a sequel, a third one would be disastrous! im sick of Hollywood re-using formats like this when there are thouzands of more original films that could be made for a fraction of the budget that will probably be spent on Ace Ventura 3

'Ace Ventura Jr: Pet Detective' to be released directly to DVD on March 3rd, 2009.

This movie only cost $7,500,000 to make so it cant be that great!
