Re-uses too many jokes from the first movie.

While some remained funny, I felt like facepalming each time it reused a joke. Although the "like a glove" one made for an absolutely hilarious return later in the movie, when he failed to park smoothly (he landed upside-down). But other than that, it kind of just felt... typical. The whole rewind thing was there, the deep breath before a long ramble, eating some type of peanuts or whatever with the shells on, etc. Sure, a part of the character, I guess, but I'd prefer if they just came up with additional stuff like that.

Only a minor complaint, though. Very entertaining movie. Highly underrated.

It's a different movie but it's the same character.

Yeah, I know that. I just think that he could rather have made jokes in a similar manner, as opposed to the very same ones. Makes his character less funny, in my opinion. Then it's like all these weren't improvised, but sort of prepared for whenever such occasions arise.

It was like Carrey was playing an even goofier and more over the top caricature of Ace in the sequel. It was great.
