Any Chance Of A Comeback??

I wonder if Ben Elton had devised another series of this but was trying to keep it under wraps??

If anybody watched the Comic Relief Mr Bean sketch on BBC1 last night you might of recognised the bloke who played Grim as the father giving the bride away at the wedding.

i hope it doesn't come back, although i think its a shame that it didn;t run for longer, the BBC just can;t do comebacks, they're always terrible, the blackadder back and forth was painfull to watch, and when absolutly fabulus came back it was just as bad, same thing with Red Dwarf and the Vicar of Dibly, all very funny, but when they took a break and came back they were all really poor, so i hope they don;t try to do a comeback cos i think they'll ruin it

I don't think it will ever happen. Most of the principle players are either working on other projects, have moved on from sitcoms or have just given up on acting completely

And as already been stated the BBC's record on sitcom comebacks has never been good (Only Fools and Horses been the worst example).

On the Rowan Atkinson board, someone has mentioned that there is a rumour suggesting that Ben Elton wants to write a follow up entitles The Return Of The Thin Blue Line.
whether anything materialises out of this, we shall just have to wait and see.
