SERIES 3 (BRING BACK THE SHOW)

I am a fan of The Thine Blue Line and I got upset when this show ended and wished there was a series 3 and fought this show was really funny.

I have emailed the BBC about them getting together with Ben Elton to make a series 3 but the BBC did'nt even email me back so I have decided to take matters in to my own hands.

I am going to write a script for a series 3 of the thin blue line and then contact the BBC to see if they can use my script and start filming.

So please give me you ideas for episodes and I will use peoples ideas to help me write the script

If the BBC decide to start filming I will need them to bring back the cast of:

Rowan Atkinson as Inspecter Raymond Fowler
David Haig as Detective Inspecter Derek Grim
Serena Evans as Police Sergeant Patricia Dawkins
James Dreyfus as Constable Kevin Goody
Mina Anwar as Constable Maggie Habib
Rudolph Walker as Constable Frank Gladstone
Mark Addy as Detective Gary Boyle

yes i agree that it would have been cool for the series to continue but I can't see it happening now, and I'm sure some of the cast would come back together, but wouldn't the character of Gladstone have retired now?? furthermore since Rowan Atkinson is a multi-millionaire he really has no need to work again.

Plus I think the situation in a real police station would be very different now to what it was then, plus wouldn't you need permission from Ben Elton before you submit any scripts??

Grim is investigated by internal affairs, then Fowler and the other officers are interviewed about this investigation (lots of gags here). Grim then turns to Fowler and tries to convince him that he is a loyal officer and great guy, but Fowler remains unconvinced, barraging him with insults all the while. But it turns out it is an April Fools Joke... that's all I got.

In a complete twist, have Fowler now promoted as head of CID and Grim now doing Fowler's job. Further increase the tension between the two.

I've Have decided not to go and write a script for The Thin Blue Line but what I am going to do is write a script for my very own TV series which will be a very funny comedy.

Everybody will have to wait and see what I come up with.

I am thinking up idea for series 1 of my very funny comedy series but I have come to some problems that might take some time to get past.

Didn't reply because from what I heard or read, Ben Elton refused to make a 3rd as everyone slatted the series.
