The Janeway did nothing while B'lana was about 2 b lobotomized on the ground knowing full well that they were fast tracking it. The Enterprise D crew would've moved heaven and earth 2 help their people.
shareJaneway made sure Tuvok could conduct his independent investigation... I sorta remember (I can be wrong) that Janeway was attempting to negate the Prime Directive and rescue B'elanna. However, in the end, Tuvok's investigation provided proof that B'elanna was innocent.
In the end, the Prime Directive can be a blessing and a course.
