Why "Janeway" instead of Jane?
The answer came to me, when I tried to 'gender-reverse' that name.
'Jane Way' .. why is there a 'way' added to 'Jane'? How ridiculous it would be genders reversed, 'John Way'.... ooooooooooooooooooooh!
They wanted a female John Wayne! What could be closer to feminized 'John Wayne' than 'Jane Way'? All it's missing is one utterance at the end, and 'John' and 'Jane' are basically mirror images of each other based on gender.
I guess this SJW female-machoism started earlier than I thought.. they even have a 'white supremacist'-episode in this show! I couldn't believe when I read the synopsis.. (can't remember which one, though)
I wonder if this show is nothing but an attempt to shove in the politically-correct SJW crap.. even seven of nine just HAS to be female, although the Borg shouldn't even care about genders and should've alredy formed a more efficient, 'genderless' entity instead of 'bipedal humans that have plastic shapes slapped to their heads'.
It's just shocking how early it started, in this show, it seems to be in full swing. Of course even the original Star Trek had its stupid feminist clichés and misandry, but at least also a little bit of the opposite as well.
I wonder why some countries that claim to be so 'liberal' and spew this 'politically-correct' crap all over the place, have never had a female president..
