'Muse' Plot Hole
The poet gives a note to one of his crew and tells him to go find the ship and give it to B'Lanna. He arrives, gives it to her and she reads it out loud.
How?
Did he write it in English?
There are a few worlds, or at least two including the one you're pointing out, where aliens write in English. One that I can remember was from the time dilation episode where the planet exhibits an acceleration in time faster than normal space-time. The humanoids write in English and try to send a note -- attached to a balloon -- to Voyager.

Excellent synopsis.
That's 'Blink of an Eye' and I don't mind when the writing or speaking is for the benefit of the audience (that's just a convenient method of informing the viewers of what's happening -- like the universal translator). But in 'Muse' it was explicitly used as a plot point that determined a character's actions.
You could argue that the universal translator instantly translates writing like the spoken word but that's pushing it.
