Voyager ages very well
I am binging seasons 4 and 5, and it certainly does not look or feel like a show from two decades ago.

hi friend! we are here to discuss Voyager! do you have a favourite character??
share[deleted]
I am so happy that I found this old image of Corwin!!! It is how I picture him.
[deleted]
Corwin is impatient to have his portrait (a 'Trump', yes...) finished. He is a man of action but in the Raymond Chandler not the Arnold Schwarzenegger mode....he is tough because he can get beaten up and keep going, not that he can beat up 10 guys all at once...
The art is very psychedelic 70s and I frigging love it, very astute of you Sophie.

Shows don't age, they're immortalized on film forever. Only people and their perspectives age. The show is the same today as it was then, it's only a matter of enjoying an older show or not. Voyager is my favorite Star Trek, being lost in such a far away galaxy is great, it allowed for all sorts of new, original stories. The doctor was great and I always wanted to get me some of that 7 of 9. Yummy!!

What ever floats your boat, I think it's the best show anyway so I only see it as the best of the 5 TV series. I'm watching it right now for my umpteenth time.
shareI get your meaning. The Voyager sets and green-screen effects still look modern, compared to TNG's sets that look old and basic, and the effects that show some subtle flaws. The TNG bridge reminds me of the interior of a luxury vehicle, while Voyager's is darker, sharper, and grittier.
shareI find the Treks look "clean" where modern SciFi puts dirt and blood all over the place.
shareyou are right
shareThe best part about TNG, DS9, and VOY is they don't overdo hologram computer interfaces like they do in Discovery and now Picard. In Picard you got the guy flying around in the ship with a full on hologram interface, which is impractical and a confusing mess.
shareYeah, or like in all the Marvel movies with Tony Stark and Iron Man.
shareI always loved voyager I even put it ahead of next gen sometimes. Loved Janeway as captain yes. Has aged very well
shareThe minimalist design and grey colours give a timeless quality. It still looks fresh and sleek.
shareYou know, you're absolutely right, especially when compared to the Next Generation's hotel look and Deep Space Nine's shopping mall interior. However, retro fashions do come back into style, recycling every few decades or so.
