Mary Jane being a hydro clone.

Silver Mane becoming a baby.

Mysterio treating a burn victim he then fell in love with.

The writers solution to getting rid of characters "Let's throw 'em in a black hole!"

Kraven's Girlfriend (I think her name was Dr. Kafka) turning into a mutant like him.

"Wait...after Captain America fought in the Secret War did the Beyonder just send him back to being in the trap with Red Skull!"

The Spot...just...NO!

Electro is the Red Skull's son...WTF!!!

Spidey proposes to Mary Jane and she jumps off a building.

Oh...did I mention Mary Jane came back as a FREAKING CLONE!!!

What the hell was up with this show!!?!??!??! ...it's still awesome though. :)

You are absolutely right. I agree with you 100 percent. BTW, Kraven's GF was Mariah Crawford. Dr. Kafka was Venom's GF and that too was lame

Yeah, but that Captain America thing really bothers me.

Beyonder : "Now I shall send you back with no memory of what has happened.

Cap : "Okay that's fine...Wait! Does that mean I'm going back into that prison thing!?!?"

Bayonder : "Yup..."

Cap : "Dammit!!!"

I agree but to be fair, Mary Jane was under control of Baron Mordo when she jumped out the window. I kind of wish it had ended with Spidey going to find Mary Jane with Madam Web instead of the whole clone saga and Spider Carnage (who actually was a good guy in the comics).

No, i'm talking about when she jumped after Peter told her she was Spider-Man.

Spidey: "Why did you do that?"

MJ: "To prove to myself you'll always be there for me."

To which Peter should have replied:

Spidey: "Bitch, you could have just asked. You ever do that again i'm not catching you! Everybody gets one!"

I completely agree with MJ jumping off the building. When I was little and first saw the episode, I didn't think much about what she just did. But now as an adult, it's truly messed up. I think they were going for a "Romeo and Juliet" type thing (I can't live without you so I'll kill myself otherwise) but in reality, that's a deal breaker folks.

The Mysterio one too. I'm not a huge fan of that villain, but the beginning of that episode was good until they introduced Miranda "cyborg-thing-or-something" Wilson, who, for reasons unknown, decides to blow herself up with Mysterio (and even worse, Mysterio GOES ALONG WITH IT)

However, I don't understand the hate towards the clone episodes and the Spot. I actually really liked those episodes. =/

I guess it's because I thought the MJ that came back in the first Harry/Green Goblin 2 was actually MJ who found a way to get out of the dimension she was in. I like the 70s clone saga but I don't see why they had do it in this show with MJ. Plus it makes you feel cheated to find out this MJ is a clone and the real one is still trapped in a dimension. Plus I don't really like Hydro Man and didn't want to see him in another episode. Clone saga works in the comics but I didn't want to see it in this cartoon.

I actually felt more cheated when MJ just randomly shows up in the Harry/GG2 episode. It seemed like they didn't know what to do about bringing her back, and so they just did it (similar to their lack of explanation how Vulture got rid of the man-spider disease). So I appreciated the twist with the clones but I can see why some people wouldn't like it either now.

If the TC here 8 years ago thought Silvermane becoming a baby is bad they should read the comics where he eventually becomes a cyborg with spider legs.
