I really hate Morbius in this series

Seriously, everything that happened to Morbius he not only brought upon himself, but deserved as well. First he starts out as some pompous, egotistical, "I'm the smartest man in the world" jackass. Then he just somehow ends up outside the coffee shop where Peter and Felicia's date was supposed to take place and saves her from a mugger. Then he turns around and steals an experiment from Peter's locker and was planning on finding out how Peter did it to use it to become Dr. Connors assistant. Then he just goes ahead and takes experimental equipment from ESU's lab. Then he tries to turn Felicia into a vampire. Then him stealing the geonetic recombinator nearly turns Aunt May into a vampire. For a guy who claims to be so smart, you think he'd have made some better decisions.

Hey but even the smartest people in the world can do idiotic things you know lol

reply

Yeah. He was nothing like the comics version. The comics version never even met Peter Parker or Felicia Hardy.

he was alright in the beginning but he did get overused too much. Also, he needed a better voice

reply

What I hate is how over used he was. Why did Morbius get more exposure than Mysterio, Electro, Green Goblin, Hobgoblin, Vulture and other bigger name villains?

reply

Well because he'd never been in a cartoon before. That's why.

I swear, if I hear 'plasma' one more time...

Kingpin was overused too but he at least wasn't censored.

With lips on his hands, how intimidating. This character was so overused, he hasn't been used in any other Spider-man tv series since.

people hate him, but I thought his story arc was one of the best ones in the show. I think they used him so much because it was easy for them to tie his origin into Peters guilt (something the character always struggles with). This is something the other villains don't have, as Peter blames himself for what happened to Morbius. "If I didn't leave my blood sample at ESU..."
