It's because she's known all along he's Spiderman. Despite what Ben Parker told him, I think Aunt May just wanted Peter to have a nornal life. Her fear of Spiderman is no coinsidence, plis the fact she's almost walked in on him plenty of imes.
shareInteresting, can you sight any episodes that illustrate this best? I haven't seen the show in about 6-7 years and can't really recall anything that implies this directly. Now that it's on Netflix instant I've been wanting to see a few episodes, but it's kind of painful. The pacing is just ridiculously fast, music overused. Hobgoblin (esp. part 2 was always my favorite episode,s) and even in season 1 it just seems too fast. The last scene with Hobby cackling is shown for less than a second before the credits roll. Ridiculous.
